And not a moment too soon!

Well it looks like we got the house. YAY! SO STOKED! Just have to sign a few papers and then we are scheduled to close on the 30th or 31st... Which means we will be home owners one June 1 2012! Now this is super exciting for me, not only because it's my first time buying a home. Also we have not had a place of our own in a year. Though we are thankful for the amazing family we have for letting us stay with them, we are all more than ready to be in our own home.... The next 20 or so days better fly by! I am thinking they will bc I am working every weekend this next month. And happy to be!
We are pretty much set as far as stuff goes for our home. We do have to buy a fridge, washer and dryer. Still need a kitchen table (still looking for the perfect one) and I'm sure a few odds and ends once we get all moved in... Oh I am just to happy right now, I could scream.  I can't wait to decorate and make a home to make memories in....

It came.... It went.....

Well first things first. The house that I talked about in my last post fell through... Bummer. On a better note, we found one that is going to work out. YAY! It is way nice too. It was the first one we had looked at. We liked it right away, the only thing that had stopped us before was the fact that it was only a 2 bedroom.. I wanted a 3 bedroom so we had room to grow with it and the kids could have their own rooms. I still feel this way, but one of the rooms in this house is huge (2 car garage remodeled and turned into a room) and we could easily make it into two rooms. With the help of my Dad, I think that is what we will do. Layla is bummed bc right now at this age she is stoked to share a room with her brother again like they did in PA. I have a feeling a few years down the line that will change. Anyways, we gave them an offer and they had a counter offer that still worked for us so we accepted. The only thing that sucks is the sellers still live in the house so we have to wait til June first to move in.... I guess that just gives us more time to get more things in order and buy more stuff for our house! Gosh, I really feel like this day would never come. Technically it still has not, at least it is sight...

That's pretty much it for now. Kiddos are doing great. Layla taught Ryder to shake his hands in a fist and yell... She is so proud. lol

Josh is good. Working. Just as happy about moving as I am..
