Ryder is ONE!!

Can you believe it, Ryder is already one years old.. I can not believe how fast this past year went. Even though I thought it was impossible to love him more then the first time I saw him, it is safe to say that over this past year I have just fallen head over hills for this little boy. He is such a fun little guy. At one he is walking, practically running actually. He loves to talk. His favorite words include " Layla,Dada, what's that? Sis and once in a while a Mama" He has been off his bottle for about three months now, eats pretty much whatever we eat and loves to play with his Dad, Mom and Sis.

We had a "Pirate" party for him (a day early) and he got spoiled! Not that he really new what was going on, but I think he had a good time. We got him his own "smash" cake. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first, but his Sister and Cousin's showed him how to do it. After he say them putting fists full of cake and frosting in their mouths, it was game on. Once it was all said and done he was a red and black mess. He got so many great new things.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYDER MB!
WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK!!!

Sometimes all you need is love

Some exciting news is Ryder MB is walking. He just took off yesterday like it was no big deal. He is still a little wobbly, but it is the cutest thing ever. He smiles and laughs the whole time. Love it. I can't believe how big he is getting. We went to the doctors a couple weeks ago for his 11 month check up. No surprise he is doing great and moving right along. He is in the 75th percentile for his height and weight. Doctor Jeff says he is advanced for his age. No surprise there either. He already says so many words. I think right now his favorite thing to say is "Whats that?" and now he has begun to point when he asks. He also says " Dada, Mama, sissy, and uh-ooo." This little boy loves music. The second he hears it, he begins to bounce up and down and fist pump. Yes, I know fist pump. I swear the kid was sleeping every time I watch the JS.. haha Anyways he is doing just great and is still as cute as can be. This little boy melts my heart.

Layla also went to see Doctor Jeff for her Kindergarten check up. I know, I know.... Kindergarten. It is so hard to believe. When Doctor Jeff saw her he said she looks and acts like a second grader.. It's sad to me. haha She is in the 90th percentile for her height and 50th for weight. Yup, she is my little string bean. Tall and skinny. He said by the time she is done growing she will probably be taller than me. The cutest thing ever is Doctor Jeff asked her to draw a picture of her favorite person. Once she was all done, she said it was me! I could have cried. Love that girl. So now it's official papers signed and all she is ready to start Kindergarten... YIKES!

Josh and I are both working a lot. Which is good and bad. We love pay day, but because he works all week and most Saturdays and I work all weekend it doesn't leave much time for us to spend together as a family. That sucks! We are still currently waiting on this whole house thing. I tell you what this is so darn stressful. I have also come to realize that the only people we can really count on is each other... (and my Dad! :) ) This whole house buying thing has been such a pain and really stressful, we should officially know by the 15th of June. It seems so far away. If it all works out, I don't think I will know what to do with myself. It has been one bumpy road this past month or so... At the end of the day though no matter what went on it is so nice to know that I have Josh, Lay and Ryder. They are my rock and with out them I don't know what I would do. This past year has been filled with so much, and I know that if we can get through this rough patch we can get through just about anything together...
