Mama I'm coming home

Oh me oh my guess what... We are going back to Utah in less than a week. Oh, my hell I am stoked! It's too bad that the sudden change and us going a lot sooner than planned had to be a negative thing, but at least I get to get back home and to family. I need me some family right about now anyways! ;) I can hardly wait. I am not really looking forward to packing everything up in less than a week and driving four days straight, but it'll be so worth it in the end... We are still planning to buy a house in May, but we do have to now find somewhere to rent for a couple months. In fact that is what I should be doing right now. Because we are so lucky that our little car made it the first time pulling a trailer we're not really willing to chance it again. So I have already made our reservation for a Uhale truck and because it only seats 3, looks like I will be driving the car while Josh drives the truck. Not totally happy about that, but I will do what I have to. We all need to get back to Utah. It was so nice and exciting talking to my family and being able to say see ya next week. Oh, I get all giddy inside. Can not wait. Well gotta run, so so so much to do!

A Very Happy Birthday

Josh is 30! He had a great day. I planned a little surprise for him and keeping it a secret almost killed me. haha I came up with the whole story that I ordered him something and we had to go pick it up on Saturday (his bday) @ 12:30, then after we were going somewhere... He bought it! About 10 mins before we got to our destination I handed him a card that I made with a picture of a tattoo he has been really wanting on the front, and told him I wanted him to mentally prepare himself.. He laughed and was a little confused. He opened the card and his tattoo appointment card was in it. It was cute, I saw him get nervous right before my eyes. He even seemed a little confused. So of course I explained it and told him that's where we were going. He was so happy and excited! I did a good job! :)

It turned out so good, and Josh loves it! I have to admit I was pretty jealous that it wasn't me, but I am more than happy knowing I made his Birthday a good one! Later that night we all went out to dinner. We went to this awesome place where they cook in front of you! It was so yummy and it kept the kiddos entertained the whole time. I think I can actually say it was the least stressful dinner outing we have had. :)

I just had to snap some adorable pics of my adorable kids. I love both of them so much! I have to say nothing makes me happier. They are so cute together. Ryder adores Layla. He will just sit and watch her play. Layla is way cute with Ryder. She loves holding him. It is pretty funny though. Considering he is about half her weight she kinda struggles. haha I love it ... I can't wait til they can run around together. I can however wait on the fighting that I know is bound to happen. I am hoping the 4 1/2 year age difference will help with that. Ryder is finally feeling better and Lay is on her way. Ryder gets shots tomorrow poor guy. He is a trooper though, so I know he'll do great. Life is going good again. Can't wait to get back to Utah. Only a few more months! YAY!

Another box of Kleenex please!

Once again my two sweet babies are both sick.. Arg! Monday Ryder had a well check Dr. Appointment. That morning he woke up with a streaming runny nose. I knew that if he was sick they couldn't give him his shots. I was hoping that maybe it was a teething related thing, so we still went. While the Doctor was doing his check up he discovered that Ryder had an ear infection. My poor baby boy. I actually was shocked. He had shown no sign of an ear infection. In fact the only indication of anything at all was his runny nose. Lets just say I am so glad we already had that appointment scheduled. He did have a fever so they weren't able to give him his shots. He is once again on antibiotics. On a better note, he is in the 75th percentile for his height and weight. He is gaining weight good (which anyone can see by looking at him, over 20lbs @7 months) and he is right on track and developing just as he should.:) Sometime in the middle of the night last night Lay came into our room with a sore throat and a runny nose... My first question to her was "Do your ears hurt?" Geeze, I swear sense mid October one of us has been sick. It is getting so annoying. I can't wait for summer.  It has been horrible. I pump my kids with vitamins everyday, Josh and I take Airborn or E-mergancy like it's going outta style. I Lysol, and bleach. I just don't know what to do! I just feel so bad for my Kiddos when they are sick. I wish I could take it away from them, sharing it just isn't cutting it.  Ryder is just starting to feel better and Lay is just starting to feel crumby...
Saturday is Josh's 30th Birthday! Oh, my he is getting old. haha Not really I just like to give him a hard time. I have a awesome Birthday surprise for him. I can't wait! He is going to be stoked! I would share, but he might read this. I will make sure and add it to my next post. Then we are all going to go out to dinner. Layla made the cutest card for him today. It has a picture of Josh,Layla, Ryder and Me on it. Then underneath is says "Dad, we love you." Oh, it's just so cute! I love homemade... well anything really. They mean so much more! I have a great collection of stuff Lay has made in school that I am going to frame when we buy our house. SO excited!
I also have to just say how proud I am of myself... I filed both mine and Josh's taxes online all by myself! It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. Seems like people get so stressed over it, and it made me think it was hard or something. Let's just say if you can read and follow directions you can do it yourself. I feel like such a fool for going and having someone do them for me. I paid like 300 plus bucks before. This year it costs us a total of like 50 bucks for both. Not to mention we are getting enough back to move back with no problem. YAY! And a few extra spending bucks for us now! :) Josh has his heart set on buying another motorcycle. I hope that after we get moved back and furnish our new house we have enough left over for him to get one... And this time one I can ride on too! That was just not fair! haha

Well seems like if I keep my positive attitude  up, things will keep going smooth and good.
