I sure do miss this guy

I have really been missing my Dad! I wish I could give him a big hug and kiss right now. My Dad and I have a great relationship. We are very close. He has always been there for me and I know he always will.  A few months before we left I would see him at least 3 times a week. I love that I can tell him anything and he always knows what to say and gives great advice. I feel very lucky to have such a great Dad, just wish I could see him. Some times the phone calls just don't cut it!
Daddy-o and Maddi-o

I think one of the hardest things is not having him around my Kiddos! Layla and him were so close and I wish he could watch Ryder grow! My Dad calls Ryder "EZ" of course because of the biker magazine "Easyriders" haha

On that thought, I wish all my family could be here to see Layla and Ryder grow! I think that is the hardest part of all this.
Miss and Love you Daddy-O! <3

On a happier note, Ryder is already 5 months old. I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday Josh and I were going into surgery to have him.. He is still progressing very well. Learning and growing everyday.
Last night Josh and I ran to pick Lay up from Grandma Jodi's and we left Ryder home with Great Grandma and of course while we were gone Ryder decided to roll over for the first time. Little stinker! He has been so close for so long and of course he waits until Mama and Dada aren't home to see it. Still so proud of him!   <3

Layla is getting excited for Christmas. She asked me yesterday if we can go to the mall to see Santa. She is at the perfect age for "Santa"..... She anticipates his arrival and I can not wait for Christmas morning. I have to admit I am pretty excited myself. Josh and I spent all last weekend Christmas shopping.. Lets just say these Kiddos are getting spoiled! <3
I can not wait to see the look on Layla's face when she See's what Santa brought her. :) I love that Ryder is going to be 6 months right about that time. Even though he is getting tons of new toys I can already say that he will probably be more interested in the crinkling wrapping paper! :)

I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is in less than a week. Crazy how time flies.
Hope everyone has a great Turkey Day!
