Layla went to Colorado with her Dad last week to visit with her Grandma and Grandpa Lantz. Sounds like she had a good time, but boy was I glad to have her home.. A week without my little girl is just too long. She also decided (a couple days after she got home) that she wanted to go live with her Dad full time and only see me a couple times a week. Of course this broke my heart, and I know that it was only bc I made her go to timeout. Still that isn't something as a Mom you like to hear. I decided to say ok and see how she liked it. So she could see that being home isn't all that bad.. Well Joel of course said she couldn't ( Which I knew he would say) and about an hour after she left to spend the night with her Dad she was wanting to come home. The little stinker is smart and has already learned to play us against each other.
Ryder is still growing like a weed. I can't believe that in less than two months he will be one years old. My how time flies. He is getting so brave when it comes to trying to walk. He is going to take off any day now. Yesterday he was crawling up the stairs. He got about three stairs up and panicked and started to cry for Mama. His personality is really coming out. He has developed quite the temper. I think it's funny now, but laughing isn't what I'll be doing in a couple months I just know it. He isn't really into baby food anymore. He does good with breakfast, other than that getting him to eat baby food is a chore so I figure why push it. He loves eating what we eat. At dinner if he is eating something different then us, he will sit and almost glare at you til he gets some. We have got an eater on our hands. His thighs are the proof! :)
Last weekend we did something we have been waiting to do for so long now. Feel like we have been waiting a life time. We went and looked at houses! Yay! After looking at 5 different houses we found the one we think is a winner. It is a cute three bedroom, two bath house. It has a huge fenced in yard and I am just hoping we get it. We put an offer in today! We should know by the end of the week if they accept.

Lets just hope it all works out. So ready to have a place of our own to call home. :) About a week or so after we got back to Utah we went out and bought a whole bunch of new stuff for when we got a home. We got a couch, TV stand, Bed, dishes, pots, pans, bedding.. Um can't remember what else right now, but I am so excited to be able to use it all. CAN'T WAIT!
I have been back to work for a couple weeks now and I love it. I really missed the Barbary. My first weekend back I work all three days. Man was I tired by Sunday night, but the money was well worth it! :)
In a few weeks it'll be mine and Josh's 2 years of being together. Love him so much! Even though these past few months have been rough I am so happy to say that if anything it has and will only make our relationship stronger. J+M= <3
