Well that is my question, I have been having contractions for the past two days now and I'm pretty sure these are the real thing... But not 100% sure! See with Lay I had little one's that I barley noticed and to be honest these don't feel much like that at all.. These are more like menstrual cramping, pains down my legs, hard to breath, PRESSURE like no other and to be honest I feel like I should be sitting on the toilet right now. I started writing them down when I got to work today and they seem to be about 30 mins apart and lasting anywhere from 1 to 3 mins. I googled what actual labor feels like and to be honest I didn't get a real answer. Most all the sites said " You will know." Ok, problem, I don't know! So I guess we play the waiting game and see if they get stronger and closer together. I just hope either that happens soon, or they stop. Sitting in one spot for 5 hours through "contractions" not really that pleasant. I was able to sleep last night, but not very good. Even though, these pains didn't keep me wide awake they sure didn't help me sleep. All I know is I am not going to L&D until I know it's the real deal. Thanks to my friend Des, we learned that the hard way with her first and spent about ummm I wanna say maybe 10-12 hours at the hospital. Lucky for her they let her walk around to get things moving, but I have a feeling that I will sit hooked up to a machine for three hours for them to say, nope not ready go home.. I would rather stay home and get stuff done and keep moving, because if this is the real deal I know that moving and walking around is the trick to keep things in progress.
So everyone cross your fingers that all this is making something happen down there! Maybe Ryder will be here sooner than we thought!
HAPPY HUMP DAY Y'ALL! :)
