Catching Up!

It has been quite some time sense I have made a post... Seems like life is moving fast these past few weeks. We have been in PA for about three weeks now. It's going good so far. Josh and I just got jobs, Layla starts pre-school on Monday and Bubba is growing like a weed. Maybe it's all the rain we have been having. :) Josh got a job at a company named Fastenal. It distributes anything you could/would need on a job site. After Josh was offered the job, his boss suggested that I apply there too, because he could pay me more than all the other places I was applying. (Malls) So I did and got hired on too. We work the same schedule, but in different departments. Today was my first day. Went well, but I missed the Kiddos more than expected. Layla will be in school 4 days a week for few hours, and Ryder will be home with his Grandmas! I really don't like having to leave them, I got so use to being home with them all day. I am excited to get working again though. It has been a while, and I am definitely feeling the manual labor tonight...

Layla is going to a horse show with Grandma Jodi and Grandma this weekend. She is stoked. They are going to be camping out for a couple days. It is all she has been talking about. She loves Grandma Jodi and Grandma so much, and even more so she loves to be with them without Josh and I around. I think she will really enjoy herself. Our sweet little farm girl. Jodi has about every farm animal you could think of at her house. Lay is in paradise over there. She helps with the barn chores, and she even earned a dollar the other day! (Thanks Grandpa Joe!) She acts like she owns the place.

Ryder is getting so big, we can hardly believe it. I swear he has grown just sense we got here. His clothes that barley fit are backing up our theory. He is Mr. Chatters. He loves to chat and chat and chat some more. He is full of smiles and still loves his Daddy, Mommy and Sissy!  It was adorable today when we got home from work he was fussy and the second he heard my voice he popped his head up with a smile on his face. He is such a lover boy with Mommy and Daddy. We are having so much fun watching him grow and starting to develop his own little personality.  He is such a good baby. He is so content and full of smiles all the time.

So far PA has really been great. Haven't missed SLC too much. Really it's just the people in SL that I miss. It is harder than I thought not having my Mom and Dad just right down the street. Last week I really wanted to be back. We lost a great man. My Mom's BF Dale passed away. I can't even imagine what my Mom is going through, and it was/is killing me that I couldn't be there for her. She seems a bit better lately and I know my sisters are there for her. Dale was a great guy and he loved my Mom, My kids and Josh. We will all miss her greatly!

We are suffering from a bit of a culture shock. Everyone in PA moves so damn slow. It drives us crazy. Seriously from driving down the road, to checking you out at the grocery store. We both get a little ancy living in the middle of the woods. Anytime you wanna go somewhere its turns into a all day outing. No more just running to the store to grab milk or TP. It is at least an hour ordeal, at least! Seems like most people seem to stock up around here for that very reason. We are so use to just hopping in the car and being so close to everything, it is something we are trying to get use to for sure. It is really pretty out here though. Very, very green.... and wet. The first couple days we were here it was way hot, but sense then it has been mostly rain and cooler weather. Which is nice too, I love fall time weather and fall time clothes! :) We haven't really done much site seeing yet. Josh took me into Scranton and showed me his High School and the house he use to live in... I really enjoyed that! :) I am hoping that soon we can venture on a little further and see some cool places! i.e NEW YORK! ;)
Well I think I have pretty much caught up, time for bed!
Life is still good!
xxoo
